Who Are We?

Why Sell Tee-shirts?
Our mission and reason for existing are simple: to popularize the most common thought in the world: “But What About Me?” (Well, we do hope to do it profitably, too.)
Where Did We Get the Idea?
At the dinner table.
Compliment one child, and automatically (and immediately) the other would respond with “But What About Me?” We joked about it for several years and eventually shortened the phrase to “BWAM?” which we pronounce bee-wham.
What Do We Do?
We want to fulfill our mission by selling good-looking tee-shirts; related apparel like hoodies, shorts, and hats; and non-apparel with the BWAM? logo and trademark.
We don’t view BWAM? as a selfish notion but instead a normal and constant part of the human condition–of everyone’s condition.
Of course, BWAM? goes beyond siblings or families. Teammates, classmates, coworkers, caregivers, physicians, priests, hair stylists, etc. BWAM? arises in all social situations. In fact, one needn’t be human to have the BWAM? urge. So, we’ll have BWAM? for dogs, too. (We suspect that cats think that it is all about them; so, we don’t think they’d get it.)
At times, we may offer other interesting items for sale, particularly if our artistic friends want to sell something on online. If you like our designs and taste, we’ll be happy to design non-BWAM? gear for you, too. When our clients permit it, we’ll show those on-line, too.
How Do We Do It?
With a cool printer and a heat press. Our designs are printed using professional-quality photo printers and are applied to apparel with a heat press.
We use both dye-based and pigment-based inks depending upon the desired vibrancy and number of colors in the design. We use only professional/commercial paper transfer paper, and scale the graphic proportional to the shirt size.
We use a high-temperature (350° – 400°), commercial heat press at high pressures to ensure the design fuses onto the fabric. No homemade, iron-ons here. We don’t skimp or take short-cuts; we like the message (and enjoy popularizing it) too much to ruin our effort with a poor-quality product.
By the way, designs on dark fabric feel thicker and more like vinyl than those on lighter fabrics, and designs on light fabric are softer to the touch.
Why is the ‘favicon’ a Basenji’s head?
If you owned Basenjis, you would understand. They are the ultimate ‘BWAM?’ dog–always looking for that little extra bit of attention and doing whatever it takes to get it. That is unless it is raining or there is snow cover, then they lie lower than the basement carpeting.
