Our trademarks are ours, and ours alone. (Fortunately, our neighbor is an aggressive and energetic intellectual property attorney.)
Garment Care:
To minimize fading, all of our clothing should be washed inside-out and without bleach, especially the first time, per our supplier’s instructions, which we include with every order.
Returns & Exchanges:
Where possible, we mention the apparel manufacturer or how the garmet fits relative to a common brand. We do this so our customers can order the right size the first time. If the shirt doesn’t fit, we will exchange it, but the cost of (return) shipping to us is the customer’s responsibility.
We know that on occasion a shirt or design will be defective, and we stand behind our products. In those cases, we offer exchanges and will refund return shipping on those items.
However, we judge whether an item is defective, and we won’t exchange or refund apparel that was improperly washed or abused. We have plenty of production mistakes—where the logos are a little too crooked to be considered whimsical—that we experiment with in the washer; so, we know how our designs look when they are improperly washed in a variety of manners.
Transaction Security:
The logos on the left, illustrate that both our shopping cart and transaction processing service are secure. Our main payment processor is one of the largest on the web, and we offer alternative check-out directly at PayPal. Our SSL certificate from GeoTrust shows that important communication between your browser and our site is encrypted, and that our customers can transact with who we say we are: But What About Me, Incorporated at www.BWAMShop.com.
